My lovely Grandmother Ethel Holmes 1879-1955
Born at 39, Gibson Street, Sculcoates. Hull. East Yorkshire. England
Died at Worksop, Nottinghamshire 1955.

Ethel was the third daughter of Norman and Maria Holmes nee Ormerod.
 Norman was a Brewers Cooper and the family moved from Hull to Stretford where
 Ethel was to meet her life time partner Joseph Bond, they were to have six
 children; Norman, Bill, Joseph, Ethel, Marjorie and my mother Dorothy.
 Dorothy Bond married Walter Joslin in 1933
my twin brother Michael and I were born in 1934 in Worksop. Peter Joslin (91) your Holmes webmaster
is dedicated to family history research
 and helps run a 'Joslin Society' & the Lancashire Family
 History Society, Some of Peters interest in family history can be attributed to his lovely Grandma 'Ethel Holmes'
